This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Ruffdoku (“the App”, “we”, “us”), published by HOL4B, handles information when you use the App. By using Ruffdoku you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We do not require an account and do not ask you for personal information. Ruffdoku has no sign‑up, login, or profile.

• Game data stored on your device. Your level progress, personal best times, streaks, pet choice, and settings are saved locally on your device (browser local storage inside the app) and are removed if you delete the App.
• Anonymous gameplay analytics (via Google Firebase). The App records events such as Daily starts and completions, result views, reminder opens, replays, shares, Practice entry, puzzle size, completion time, and streak count. Firebase may also process an app-instance identifier, device and operating-system information, approximate region, and app usage information. We use this data in aggregate to understand reliability, difficulty, and return usage; it is not connected to a Ruffdoku account or public profile.
• Anonymous Daily result aggregation (via Google Cloud Firestore). On the first Daily clear, the completion time is placed into a time range and increments that date’s shared counter. We do not store a name, account, exact personal result, or public ranking in this record.
• Advertising data (via Google AdMob). The App shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect information such as your device’s advertising identifier (e.g. IDFA), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and operating‑system information, and ad‑interaction data.
• Purchase data (via Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat). If you buy or restore Premium, these services process purchase identifiers, receipt and entitlement information needed to complete and restore the purchase. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

How information is used

• To run and save your progress in the game.
• To measure Daily participation, completion, return usage, reliability, and puzzle difficulty.
• To display advertising, which keeps the App free, and to measure ad performance and prevent fraud.
• To process and restore Premium purchases.

Advertising & tracking

We use Google AdMob to show ads. On iOS, the App asks for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking that uses your advertising identifier across apps and websites:

• If you allow tracking, you may see ads more relevant to you (personalized ads).
• If you ask the app not to track, you will still see ads, but they will be non‑personalized.

You can change this anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and limit ad personalization in Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising.

On Android, Google AdMob may use the Google Advertising ID (GAID) to deliver personalized ads. You can reset or opt out at any time via Android Settings › Privacy › Ads.

Third‑party services

Analytics, Daily aggregation, and ad services are provided by Google Firebase, Cloud Firestore, and AdMob. Purchase processing and entitlement restoration are provided by Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat. Their handling of data is governed by their respective policies:

In-App Purchases

Ruffdoku offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (“Remove Ads · Premium”). Payment is processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android), and we do not receive or store your full payment details. RevenueCat is used to validate purchase receipts and restore entitlements.

Children’s privacy

Ruffdoku is a general‑audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will address it.

Data retention & deletion

Uninstalling the App removes locally stored game data. Anonymous analytics, aggregated Daily counters, advertising data, and purchase records are retained by the applicable service providers according to their policies and legal obligations. Because Ruffdoku has no account, we generally cannot identify an anonymous analytics or Daily record as belonging to a specific person.

Security

Ruffdoku has no account database or public user profiles. Information handled by Google, Apple, and RevenueCat is protected under their security practices. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
